Filter Levels

Home Class Filtering: Websafe's main goal for filtering under this level is to block those sites which depict images & content of a sexually explicit/adult nature.  This level also includes blocking for websites advocating Aggression, Violence, Gambling, Drugs, and sites/services which mask a user's IP address.  These are frequently used by users attempting "inappropriate" Internet activities, including attempts to bypass web filtering.


Business Class Filtering: Websafe's Business-class provides the same level of filtering as the Home-Class level, with additional protections geared primarily toward business.  These include restrictions on illegal software sharing sites, hacker sites, and sites generally considered to be employee "time waster sites" (including free email sites, game sites, and audio/video download sites.

Parents who have concerns about family members accessing sites such as those filtered by "Business Class Filtering" should choose the Business Class Filtering option.
